I was thrilled to partner with Neiman Marcus Charlotte for an intimate event highlighting the 2021 Spring Trends.
It felt great to gather (safely) and talk all things fashion over light bites and mimosas! ? Many thanks to the Neiman Marcus event team, my trusted assistant, the beautiful guests, our amazing model Amani Madden who rocked each look, hair by Royalty Beauty Bar, MUA Krysta Medley, floral backdrop by Aisha Thomas Events, music mix by Luke Calvin and event photos by Shot By Lindsay.
Hosting an in person event felt good. It was the adrenaline rush I didn’t know I needed. I did however forget when I take the stage, dancing is likely to happen and well, between that and talking for an hour, ya girl was parched! ?????
UNCF raised $2.3 million, thanks in part to Oprah’s generosity!
Celebrating 75 years of service to the nation, more than 1,000 guests adorned with fascinators and hats attended UNCF Charlotte‘s sold-out 17th annual Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon, raising a record-breaking $2,300,000 in support of education.
Fashion auteur and media personality Stacee Michelle interviews the legendary Oprah Winfrey on the red carpet at the UNCF Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon before her big announcement.
Global media leader, producer, actress and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey headlined the signature fundraising event presented by Wells Fargo and bestowed an unrivaled moment by matching live fundraising efforts to donate $1,149,000!
It is always a pleasure being the official red carpet host at the Off The Field Players’ Wives Association Super Bowl Fashion Show! This year Super Bowl LIII, Patriots vs. Rams, was held in the beautiful city Atlanta, GA. A city known for fashion and luxury, the runway show highlighted nothing less! The event was held at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, with a pre-party celebration at Dior! I loved seeing the husbands support their wives as each year they raise funds for a non-profit organization in the Super Bowl host city. This year Girls Who Code was the beneficiary! Always a sell-out event, I can’t wait until next year! Enjoy the video!

The UNCF Annual Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon is a fundraiser and signature special event of UNCF. At the luncheon, Dr. Maya Angelou, used to present awards on behalf of UNCF to women who are leaders in their respective fields and have brought positive recognition locally, statewide and nationally.
