Beyonce Knowles lands on the July 2011 issue of British style magazine Dazed and Confused to promote her new’4′ album. For the cover she is modeling a look from Givenchy A/W 2011 collection.
To me the photo shoot spoke Trailer Park meets 1960’s Retro Chic!
What are your thoughts on Beyonce’s fashion spread?!
Christian Louboutin shoes are an absolute must for a women’s shoe collection – they are truly the definition of sexy! However I am finding that these furry heeled friends are going to catch you something other than a man! King of the Jungle or not – They kind of fall into the same category as the camel-toe boots we saw Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a while ago … just… interesting to look at…
I’m not sure if another “Sex in the City” is going to be released soon — but we’ll certainly need Carrie Bradshaw to show us how to make this fashionable!
As crazy as they are – I think I could pull them off! What are your thoughts!?
The runway for Anna Sui’s Fall 2011 RTW show was definitely ‘the catwalk’ as models sashayed her latest designs while wearing furry-feline accessories!
What I really loved about Anna Sui’s collection was the unique usage of compliments…
The jeweled pendants, the graphic tights, the darish prints and colors, and of course the furry ‘cat-hats’!
Thank you Anna Sui for broadening out horizons on style and exposing us to something different!
Looking for something to add to your closet this Fall?
Aiming to add some fiber diversity to our wardrobes – contemporary designer Tracy Reese brought us a mix of geometric prints, light-weight and textured fabrics, and fur cover-ups in her Fall 2011 RTW collection! With flowing silhouettes, layering pieces, and accenting colors; she always finds a way of making the season refreshing!
Below you will find some of my favorites from the show that I think will work great for you in the upcoming season! Check them out!
Guys! Break out Grandpa’s trunk, and put Pharrell on your iTunes, it’s new age vintage time! You’ll be needing some of those old frocks to be “in like flint” for Fall 2011!
WWD.com did a great job of describing the collection as channeling the universe of Pharrell Williams, the music video genre, and even the late 1970’s graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, resulting in a youthful and commercial collection. The D&G Collection mimiced the high-school Happy Days era; incorporating baseball tees, multi-colored vests, preppy cardigans, furs, tweeds, leather jackets and splashes of Mickey-Mouse and Coca-Cola gear.
But once again, lets not take all of this too literal guys! Some of these outfits are good as a whole and some are effective as seperates. I’m no “home-wrecker” and I’d hate for my advice to leave you single and lonely… so PLEASE do not come out of the house wearing this! (see below) —->
With impeccable style and always inspiring collections D&G has once again introduced something unique for men to incorprate in their wardrobes! No more dull colors, neutral tops and jeans boys – you’ll be tasting the rainbow this season!
