Team Vogue Gets Olympic Gold! | How Britain Ended the Games in Style

Vogue UK and top Supermodels helped Fashion win the ultimate medal of honor at the 2012 London Olympic closing ceremony. Models were adorned in gold pieces created by some of Britain’s design visionaries – Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Jonathan Saunders and Paul Smith to name a few.

Calling the spread “The Midas Touch”, Nick Night (Photographer) and Lucinda Chambers (Fashion Director) did a phenomenal job showcasing the beauty of fashion – and the beauty of GOLD! Oversized posters of the photographs (featured in the September issue of Vogue UK) dropped to reveal live models wearing these golden creations.

The finale: A catwalk down the stage to the sounds of David Bowie “Fashion”; ending in a pose with fortitude, facing the crowd as if they had championed the Olympics with their winning outfits!

FSO 2012 w/ Q. Parker of 112

The Crew — Me, Deidra, Q, and Jania….finishing up our day shift! lol

I headed out with my girls Deidra and Jania to For Sisters Only 2012 (FSO). What was supposed to be a day of relaxing, shopping vendors, and people watching… ended up turning into an adventure as always! Somehow we managed to start working at the booth for R&B singer Q. Parker of 112 selling fitness calendars! haha. We saw him looking a little distressed at his booth as he was setting up and asked if he needed some help – sure nuff, we were on the job! haha. l had a great time laughin, joking, and working with everyone.. including DeAngelo who managed to not get in any of my pictures! hah. It’s always great to meet a celebrity who is humble and real…Q Parker is greatness already happening!

You Can Find Me in the Yellow Pages! | Passport for Fashion 12′

Last Saturday, I modeled in the Passport for Fashion Show! One segment of the show featured designers who created custom designed outfits from non-traditional fabrics a.k.a. Recyclable Designers. I personally wore an amazing creation by Maria Allen! My entire outfit was made out of the yellow-pages!

Just as an insider note: Before I hit the runway I hadn’t ate all day, was standing for about 2 hrs, couldn’t sit down or put my arms down, and wasn’t able to go to the bathroom! (Oh to be a model…) But, no feat is ever too big for me! I had a great time laughing with friends backstage and (of course) strutting my paper booty outfit down the runway!

Pamperrrrrrrrrrr…You. Me. The Experience (Cue Music)

Today I got to enjoy a day of pampering and parlaying!

Joy Randall, owner of Flawless Makeup, gathered her team of stylists, and gave the city of Charlotte the one and only… “Pamper Parlor” sponsoring the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.

Let me take you on a ride through the experience…

You park your car at the beautiful South Park condos…

Ride the elevator to the top floor..

*Door Opens* You are greeted by a table full of your biggest weakness….SHOES! …

As you enter the main corridor you are greeted by smiling faces and fashionable attendees realizing that ‘yes, you did dress appropriately for this’…

Tables are set-up in various stations around the room featuring make-up artists applying some of the seasons hottest beauty products. Visit every station and you will find yourself with a full face of makeup and READY for a hot date! (Unfortunately, most of us were just going home, haha)

You begin to smell something amazing…turn around and there’s a Chef by the name of Ezekiel Cheney giving a cooking demonstration…

You taste the food… mild coma…

The smiling faces and friendly conversations make you feel like you’ve reunited with your sisters…

You take a few pictures to capture the memories and Kodak moments…

Flawless Kodak — I think this is the first FLAWLESS Kodak moment I’ve had! 😉

Leaving satisfied, sexy, and fulfilled…ready for the next ‘Pamper Parlor‘ to make it’s way into your weekend once again!
