I recently attended the Spring 14′ NY Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! I was only in NY for a weekend and man did I have an experience of a lifetime! Everything happened in the moment! I got to see several shows, meet celebrities and fashion icons, interviewed Tracy Reese and her lead make-up and hair team, was highlighted on essence.com for great street style, and best of all, I got to meet Diane Von Furstenberg – my fashion idol! Loved the collection!At the Papyrus station and had fashion illustrator Bella Pilar autograph a copy of her specialty cards!Snapped a photo with Kenya Moore after the show! My heels had came off for this shot, they needed a break! haLoved the music playing, so, I went to go see who the DJ was! Another random place I managed to get into hahaDVF…and the DJ hahaThis was the standby line to get into the DVF show….crazy!I didn’t get to see the show… but this was so much better!! I got to meet Diane Von Furstenberg herself! My fashion icon!
